The Queen Mary of Denmark has seen a stylistic change since she became a queen in 2004.Mary has told the Financial Times she previously wore shorts and T-shirts, and occasionally went barefoot.

As Denmark's queen for the first time, Mary now wears ballgowns, tiaras, and pantsuits.

Mary wore casual clothing for her first public outing in 2003. She wore an oversized t-shirt with a long-sleeved design with jeans, a coordinating leather belt and sunglasses.
